We started CalmPaws because we kept hearing the same story from dog owners: the barking when you leave the house, the pacing at night, the whining during storms, the shredded furniture, the accidents on the floor. And almost every owner said the same thing after — “I know they’re not doing it on purpose.”

Dogs don’t destroy things because they’re spiteful.

They do it because they’re overwhelmed.

What frustrated us was how the market treated that problem. Most solutions fell into two extremes: heavy medication that leaves dogs sedated, or cheap “calming” products that don’t actually change anything.

Owners were stuck choosing between a dog that was anxious… or a dog that was basically knocked out.

That didn’t sit right with us.

So CalmPaws was built around a simple idea: calming the environment instead of suppressing the dog. Our diffuser releases calming pheromones that mimic the natural signals dogs use to communicate safety and security. The goal isn’t to sedate them — it’s to help their nervous system settle so they can relax naturally.

Because a calm dog doesn’t come from forcing behavior.

It comes from helping them feel safe in the place they live.
